• Community Empowerment – helping communities acknowledge and make use of the knowledge, skills, and experience contained in their own community members to participate in mutual aid and resolve issues as a community without external interference.
• Collective Knowledge Stewardship – creating a culture of active knowledge work resulting in resilient knowledge networks and information systems that connect communities across time and space.
